The concert is a grand occasion with an impressive line-up of Dutch artists performing on a floating stage on the Amstel river.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"blog_detail_text\" style=\"\">\n    <h2 id=\"concert-on-the-amstel\">Concert on the Amstel<\/h2>\n<p>Every year, Liberation Day traditionally concludes with the May 5th concert on the Amstel. This takes place in front of the famous Royal Theater Carr\u00e9. The concert is broadcast live on national television and attracts thousands of visitors to the banks of the Amstel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"blog_detail_text\" style=\"\">\n    <h2 id=\"what-was-the-programme-in-2022\">What was the programme in 2022?<\/h2>\n<p>The 2023 line-up has not yet been announced, but we can always look back at last year&#8217;s line-up. Last year featured a diverse range of well-known Dutch artists performing on the floating stage, creating an unforgettable evening of music and celebration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"blog_detail_text\" style=\"\">\n    <h2 id=\"festive-conclusion\">Festive conclusion<\/h2>\n<p>Thanks to the special collaborations, a unique concert is created every year that you definitely want to attend. Last year, the concert was concluded with a spectacular fireworks display over the Amstel, making it a perfect end to Liberation Day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"blog_detail_text\" style=\"\">\n    <h2 id=\"where-does-the-amstel-concert-take-place\">Where does the Amstel concert take place?<\/h2>\n<p>The concert on the Amstel takes place, as the name suggests, on the river &#8220;De Amstel&#8221;. There is limited space along the banks, so it is advisable to arrive early to secure a good spot. You can also watch the concert from the water.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"blog_detail_text\" style=\"\">\n    <h2 id=\"sailing-on-liberation-day-on-the-amstel\">Sailing on Liberation Day on the Amstel<\/h2>\n<p>Would you like to watch the concert live from the water? This is possible, but permits are required for this. The Amstel is closed to regular shipping during the concert.
