The Amsterdam Light Festival is back for its 12th edition. From november 30, 2023 to January 21, 2024, the artworks will light up Amsterdam. The best way to experience the Light Festival is from the water. Are you with a small group? Then check out our luxury canal cruises. The Amsterdam Light Festival is celebrated annually. There have already been 11 successful editions completed with different themes. This year is the 12th edition. The anniversary will be celebrated with the theme Technology & AI.

Our cruises start from Oosterdokskade 8, close to the central station. Along the route you will come across various light artworks in the spirit of ‘Technology & AI’.

NB! You won’t see all the artwork while cruising, but you can walk past them before or after the cruise.

No, we are not official partners. However we are still allowed to cruise during the event.

The Amsterdam Light Festival is a festival that takes place in winter from november 30, 2023 to January 21, 2024. But don’t worry about the cold, it’s nice and warm in our luxury saloon boats.

Because the festival is held in the evening, it gets dark early, so you can quickly enjoy all the light artworks in the city.

The Light Festival can be admired in the walking route and from the water. The route is 2 km long and runs through the Plantage and Weesperbuurt areas of Amsterdam. During the boat route or walking route you can admire a diverse number of aerial artworks.

Start- and end location: Oosterdokskade 8, Amsterdam

Our boat trips during the Festival in Amsterdam are 1,5 hours. Admire all the artworks from your luxurious and cosy saloon boat. You can also enjoy an additional package during this 1.5 hour trip. Is there a minimum and a maximum number of people on the boat?

No, we offer outings during the festival for large and small groups. For a large group (10+) we recommend a private boat and for a small group we recommend the individual tickets.

The theme this year during the light festival is ”Technology & AI”. Where technological developments, especially Artificial Intelligence, are central.

No, for everyone’s health there is no smoking on the boats. You can light up a cigarette on the side.

You can book as early or as late as you like. You can book as early or as late as you like. Remember, the longer you wait, the greater the chance that your preferred day is already full. Bookings are often made from 3 months in advance.
