The red light disctrict

Keizersgracht

This is the canal that cuts across the city, making it very popular with tourists from all over the world. It has a spectacular view of beautiful bridges and mansions. Definitely a place to see before you go home.

Maritime museum

The Maritime Museum has one of the world’s largest maritime collections with around 400,000 objects. It is also a spectacular building to see from the canals. You can learn everything about Dutch shipping history here.

Magere brug

The Magere Brug is one of the most beautiful bridges in Amsterdam. Just look for a big white bridge over the canals. At night it dims with all the lights and gives a very romantic view. No wonder so many people want to take a picture of this iconic bridge.

De gouden bocht

The Gouden Bocht is known for its grand mansions built in the 17th century in the Dutch Golden Age. The Netherlands was doing very well around this time and Amsterdam was the center of this success. These mansions were built by the wealthy. These houses are very characteristic of Amsterdam.

Tickets for the canal cruise in Amsterdam can easily be purchased online, with (credit card), Ideal or Sosoft.

Adult tickets start from €19.50 – and children’s tickets start from €11.50 – aged 4-12.

We start at 11 am and the last cruise is at 9 pm.

How often the boats depart depends on the type of cruise.

You can see in our calendar with available times in our booking system.

Because we handle so many departure times, we operate a first come, first served policy. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the estimated departure time so you can choose your seats.

Fortunately, it rarely rains all day, so if it starts to rain during your Amsterdam boat trip, we take shelter under a bridge.

We also have umbrellas to protect us from rain while looking for a bridge. In winter we covered the boat with a roof. It is a transparent and clear roof specially designed for the ultimate view and sightseeing.

In dry weather we can unzip the sides so we still have an open boat cruise.

Your boat trip through Amsterdam starts at the Anne Frank House. From here we sail to the famous Jordaan, the impressive Gouden Bent, the Jordaan, the famous canals of Amsterdam and much more. There is no fixed route, only fixed areas that we pass.

No, for everyone’s health there is no smoking on the boats.

It can get very cold in Amsterdam, so we have a roof in the winter to protect us from the cold wind and rain.

Remember that it is a bit colder on the water than on the street. We have blankets to keep you warm, but be prepared for Dutch weather: so bring an extra jacket in case you find it colder than expected.
