Typical Dutch stamppot, an Indonesian spread or pasta and antipasti: you choose the buffet, and we’ll prepare it on board. You’ll then spend two and a half hours cruising past the artworks of the Amsterdam Light Festival, with unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks included. You’ll be sailing privately, with a skipper who knows the light route. The festival runs from 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027.

A buffet is perfect for a group: everyone helps themselves to whatever they fancy and sits back down to enjoy the view of the canals. Whilst you’re eating, the boat glides under the bridges, illuminating one artwork after another. No hassle with a crowded venue or fixed seating: you’ll have the whole boat to yourselves.
You’ll sail along the Amstel and through the eastern canal belt, past the artworks from the 15th edition. Many of the works hang above the water. From the boat, you’ll have a front-row view.
From soft drinks to beer and wine: the drinks package is fully included, so you can enjoy unlimited refreshments on board.
Sit back and enjoy your boat trip while an experienced skipper takes you past the most beautiful spots and tells you all about them.
Fancy something sweet afterwards? Add tiramisu or spekkoek for dessert. Vegetarian or have an allergy? Just mention it in your enquiry and we’ll work something out. Beer, wine and soft drinks are available throughout the cruise. Prefer prosecco or a liqueur? Simply add to the drinks package in your enquiry.
For a buffet cruise, we use a saloon boat. There is space for a buffet table and everyone can sit indoors. All our saloon boats are electric and heated, and blankets are provided. Most saloon boats have a toilet on board. Our boats are moored at the Oosterdokskade, close to Amsterdam Central Station.
Our saloon boats are luxuriously and comfortably furnished, ideal for cruising through the Amsterdam canals in any season. The boats are fully electric, making them quiet and smooth to sail. In good weather, the windows can be opened, while in less favorable weather, you stay protected and warm. A restroom is available on board, so you can enjoy the cruise without any worries.
The basic drinks package includes beer, wine, and soft drinks. Want to upgrade the package, for example with a glass of Prosecco or a spirit? You can easily do this when making your request.
This sloop is completely private for your group. You cruise exclusively with an experienced skipper who knows the Amsterdam canals inside out and ensures a relaxed and comfortable ride. This way, you can enjoy each other’s company without interruption, while everything on board runs smoothly.
In Amsterdam, it is not allowed to play loud music in public. On a covered saloon boat, however, music may be played as long as it does not cause a disturbance to the surroundings.

Every winter, the centre of Amsterdam is transformed into a route filled with light art, along and above the canals. The 15th edition runs from 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027. A Christmas dinner with the whole team, but without a function room or a fixed seating plan. Everyone helps themselves, takes another trip round the buffet and takes a seat by a different window. A fantastic experience for a stag party. It was very cosy for 11 of us. The drinks were really well organised. There was even coffee and tea waiting for us. The skipper was friendly and, despite working a double shift, took the time for a chat at the end. We’ll definitely be back.
