A friend outing for every season in Amsterdam

We offer sloops (open boats) for nice weather in spring or summer. In autumn or winter we use covered sloops or luxury salon boats. The salon boats are heated and have blankets ready. This way we can sail in Amsterdam in any weather conditions.

Frequently asked questions

How can I hire a boat?

You can submit a request through the website, ask for more information, or email or call us directly. You can choose whatever is most convenient for you! We will send you a quote, and if you agree, you can pay online.

If I request a quote, am I committed to it?

No, if you make a request, it is completely non-binding and free! Once you have received the quote, you can simply indicate whether you agree or not.

Is there a minimum number of people required on the boat?

We have different boat sizes for groups between 8 and 150 people. For groups smaller than 8 people, we recommend our individual tickets for a canal cruise.

Is there a restroom on board?

We have several saloon boats with a restroom on board. Some sloops also have a restroom, but not all. Feel free to indicate if a restroom is a must for your group.

Can we order food and drinks for on board?

Yes, you can reserve food with your request. When requesting a quote, you can choose from our popular food and drink packages. Check out our food book for the full selection, and feel free to ask us about all the possibilities.

Can I steer the boat myself?

No, our boats are operated by our experienced local skippers. This way, you can sit back and enjoy your day.

What happens when it rains?

Fortunately, it rarely rains all day, so if it starts to rain during your Amsterdam boat tour, we will take shelter under a bridge. We also have umbrellas to protect us from the rain while we look for a bridge. In winter, we cover the boat with a roof. It is a transparent and clear roof that has been specially designed for the ultimate view and sightseeing experience. In dry weather, we can unzip the sides so that we still have an open boat cruise.
