A starter whilst you sail under the first illuminated bridge, a main course accompanied by light art above the water, and a dessert by the final artwork. On the Winter Diner boat, you’ll spend three hours sailing along the Amsterdam Light Festival route, enjoying a freshly prepared three-course dinner, a buffet, and unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks. You’ll sail in private on a heated saloon boat, with a skipper who knows the light route. The festival runs from 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027.

No need to worry about finding a table in a crowded restaurant, and no rushing between courses. Over the course of three hours, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy your meal at your own pace, whilst the artworks glide past you. The dishes are served hot at your table, the buffet is available all evening, and the skipper takes you on the most scenic route. All you have to do is sit down and enjoy.

For a dinner cruise, we use a saloon boat: covered, heated and with a toilet on board. You’ll be seated at set tables by the window, with blankets available for anyone who wants them. For larger groups, we choose a more spacious saloon boat. Our boats are moored at the Oosterdokskade, close to Amsterdam Central Station.
Our saloon boats are luxuriously and comfortably furnished, ideal for cruising through the Amsterdam canals in any season. The boats are fully electric, making them quiet and smooth to sail. In good weather, the windows can be opened, while in less favorable weather, you stay protected and warm. A restroom is available on board, so you can enjoy the cruise without any worries.
The basic drinks package includes beer, wine, and soft drinks. Want to upgrade the package, for example with a glass of Prosecco or a spirit? You can easily do this when making your request.
This sloop is completely private for your group. You cruise exclusively with an experienced skipper who knows the Amsterdam canals inside out and ensures a relaxed and comfortable ride. This way, you can enjoy each other’s company without interruption, while everything on board runs smoothly.
In Amsterdam, it is not allowed to play loud music in public. On a covered saloon boat, however, music may be played as long as it does not cause a disturbance to the surroundings.

Every winter, the centre of Amsterdam is transformed into a route filled with light art, along and above the canals. The 15th edition runs from 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027. On the Winter Diner boat, you’ll spend three hours at the table with your own group, whilst the city glides past the window. Ideal for a team, an anniversary or a family with something to celebrate. A fantastic experience for a stag party. It was very cosy for 11 of us. The drinks were really well organised. There was even coffee and tea waiting for us. The skipper was friendly and, despite working a double shift, took the time for a chat at the end. We’ll definitely be back.
