The Prinsengracht Concert takes place on Saturday 19 August 2023 on a pontoon in front of Hotel Pulitzer and can be visited without a ticket. As the name suggests, the concert takes place on the Prinsengracht, a beautiful part of Amsterdam with a rich history. The Prinsengracht is one of the main canals of the canal ring and runs from the Brouwersgracht to the Amstel.

The Prinsengracht Concert has a number of beautiful highlights. In the last two editions, we of course had to deal with the restrictive corona measures and unfortunately much could not go ahead. In 2019, the Finnish top violinist Pekka Kuusisto performed with his friends from various ensembles. The 2022 edition featured an unforgettable performance by the Amsterdam Sinfonietta.

To encourage this, the Prinsengracht Concert foundation has created the Children’s Prinsengracht Concert.
