De Bakkerswinkel
Didn’t pack a lunch? No worries. Make a quick stop at one of the first spots you’ll sail past — De Bakkerswinkel. This beloved Amsterdam bakery is the perfect place for breakfast, a hearty lunch, or a little something sweet to enjoy with your coffee.
Haarlemmerpoort
The Haarlemmerpoort — officially known as the Willemspoort — is a fascinating slice of Amsterdam’s history. When you’re sailing the Culinary Route, it’s well worth slowing down to take in this remarkable piece of the city’s past.

Loetje aan ‘t IJ
Along the way, you can moor up at Loetje aan ‘t IJ. With around 22 locations across the Netherlands, Loetje is legendary for its steaks — but lunch is also served here until 4 PM. No reservation needed, just drop in!

Pollux Pacific
Want to stay in the nautical spirit? At the NDSM Pier, you can step aboard a former training vessel that now serves as an Asian bar and grill restaurant. Food with a view — and a story.
Pllek
When the sun is out, Pllek is the perfect place to moor. This hip waterfront spot lets you kick back on a sandy urban beach and soak in the creative, laid-back vibe. Vegetarian or vegan? For the full fine dining experience with a feel-good vibe, MOS Amsterdam is your place. Looking for French-international cuisine with a stunning view? This is the restaurant for you.

A’DAM Lookout
Since you’re already sailing on the IJ, why not stop by the A’DAM Lookout Tower on the other side? On the 19th floor, you’ll find a restaurant with sweeping panoramic views over the city. Feeling adventurous? At the very top of the A’DAM Tower, there’s a giant swing that takes you soaring 100 meters above the ground.
Hannekes Boom
Eating and drinking at Hannekes Boom is always a good time. The focus here is on original, sustainable food — and the menu changes daily, so you can’t check it in advance. Consider it a delicious surprise.
Scheepskameel
Since 2016, Scheepskameel has been serving traditional European cuisine in a setting that feels both historic and welcoming. Wine lovers, take note: the restaurant offers an extensive wine list featuring exclusively German wines.

National Maritime Museum
